This training course takes you through each part of the disciple-making journey.

Each session includes a Bible passage, making this a great course to incorporate into a Discovery Group.

This session gives a brief overview of the entire disciple-making journey. It also explains what Disciple Making Movements (DMM) are.

Discovery Group Passage: Mark 10:17-27

Prayer is vital to a Disciple-Making Movement! That is why it is the first and the primary aspect of the Disciple-Making Journey!

Discovery Group Passage: Luke 11:1-13

The Disciple-Making Journey is not one you should take on your own. Having others join you on this journey is vital.

Discovery Group Passage: Luke 10:1-24

You can’t make disciples if you are not around people that are in need of the Gospel. Engaging with people who do not know God can be done easily within your everyday life. It just requires intentionality.

Discovery Group Passage: John 4:1-30

Person of Peace

A key part of the Disciple-Making Journey is understanding how to identify a person of peace.

Discovery Group Passage: Acts 16:11-15

Discovery Groups

Discovery Groups are the central piece to the Disciple-Making Journey. In a Discovery Group a not yet believer gets to discover who God is and apply what they are learning.

Discovery Group Passage: Matthew 28:16-20

Gathering new disciples together into local churches is an exciting part of the Disciple-Making Journey. It is at this stage that we really start to see the fruit of what has taken place in the other parts of the journey.

Discovery Group Passage: Hebrews 10:24-25

Multiplication is what it is all about! Multiplying disciples, and as a result multiplying churches and leaders! When multiplication starts to happen, a movement is taking place!

Discovery Group Passage: 2 Timothy 2:1-7

About Disciple-Making Life

Disciple-Making Life started due to our dissatisfaction with the effectiveness of the church in making disciples.  We began to rethink our approach to disciple-making. We studied the Bible and networked and learned from those who were involved in disciple-making movements. What we have learned and are striving to obey as disciple-makers we want to pass on to others. We are passionate about making disciples!
